FIP7 project of the EUROAGEISM H2020 focuses on ageism practices in medication use in older patients. Data collection in this project is held in collaboraion of several countries. As one of the most effective ways how to reduce inappropriate prescribing in older patients is to systematically develop medication safety and medication management services for older adults in Europe, the FIP7 scientific meeeting and training school in Tampere, Finland focused on important role of clinical pharmacy services in individualisation of drug schemes in complex older adults and on strategies how to develop these services in Central and Eastern Europe. This educational event was held on February 8-9th, 2019 and two scientific meetings of FIP7 project followed on Feb 10-11th, 2019. Researchers and practitioners from Central and Eastern Europe taking part in data collection in FIP7 project participated at this event, namely from the Czech Republic, Estonia, Serbia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia and Turkey.
