Rok 2022 – Rokiem Profesora Walerego Goetla w Akademii Górniczo-Hutniczej im. Stanisława Staszica

The article commemorates Professor Walery Goetel and his achievements at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków and in the field of nature conservation, including the creation of three trans-frontier national parks. His concept of a new interdisciplinary science called sozology is also addressed, as are his travels abroad. The article informs about the decision by the Senate of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow to establish 2022 as the Year of Professor Walery Goetel, and about related scientific conferences
