The aim of this study was to know the differentiation result of social studies learning between the cooperative learning on jigsaw strategy with the conventional strategy after controlling toward the achievement motivation variable on the fifth grade students of SDN 1 Semarapura Tengah. This research used quasi experimental by using Posttest- Only Control Group Design. The population in this research was all of the fifth grade students of SDN 1 Semarapura in academic year 2013/2014. The sample was chosen by using random sampling technique. Independent variable in this research was cooperative learning on jigsaw strategy, meanwhile dependent variable in this research was the result of social studies learning.
