The study assesses the attitudes of women farmers towards urban agriculture in Somolu local government area of Lagos State. Fifty respondents were randomly selected from five extension blocks were purposively selected due to high concentrations of women involved in urban agriculture. The data obtained were analyzed with the aid of frequency count and percentages while chi-square was used to test the hypothesis. The findings indicates that the women’s' attitude to urban agriculture remains extremely negative.
