The role of the Indonesian Military (TNI) in disaster management is the implementation of the TNI main task, namely Military Operations Other Than War (OMSP) which is carried out by helping to cope with natural disasters, evacuation, and providing humanitarian assistance and efforts to reduce losses due to natural disasters (forest and land fires) with the aim of creating sense of security in society.
