This investigation was conducted to increase our knowledge on the spreading and accumulation of ground-near air pollution (suspended particulate matter, PM2.5) from private furnaces (wood stoves) in the Bergen municipality. Dispersion calculations have been performed with a high resolution dynamical atmosphere model and emission values based on typical emission figures and locations of registered wood stoves in the municipality. The over-arching questions are: How is wood-stove originating suspended matter neasr ground distributed during typical winter days with high levels of air pollution in Bergen municipality? How large are the contributions from suspended matter from furnaces in the single townships in relation to the total pollution...
