Wife beating is one of the most important global health concerns, not only in developing countries but also in developed countries. The prevalence of wife beating is more common in Bangladesh, which is a major health-related problem among reproductive-aged women. For this reason, the aim of this paper was to investigate sociodemographic factors associated with wife beating among women in Bangladesh. We used the most recent Bangladesh Demographic and Health Survey 2017–18 data. A total of 20,127 women were included in this study. Descriptive statistics and the chi-square test were used.
