This writing aims to describe the development of classic batik motifs in Imogiri hand-drawn batik company, Bantul in relation to the theory of cultural resilience. The results of this study are that the community of batik artisans at the Girisari batik company, related to the theory of cultural resilience according to Talcott Parsons, consists of the categories of adaptation, integration, goal-oriented, and latency.
