Crop diversification in Italy dataset. The method developed by Jahanshiri et al., (2020) was used to study the climate suitability of underutilised crops. A list of ecological parameters considered in the climate suitability assessment. Ecological parameters for 600 crops were obtained from the database and used to classify for Italy. The result is a matrix of 477,034 by 600 which was then simplified to the present dataset to contain one crop per location
