The State of the World's Volunteerism Report is a UN flagship publication to inform and advocate the role and contribution of volunteerism for peace and development with varying themes per edition. Published every three years, it is designed to strengthen understanding on volunteerism and demonstrate its universality, scope and reach in the twenty-first century. This publication presents new evidence on the role of volunteerism in strengthening community resilience.
