Background: Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA) is an autoimmune disease characterized by inflammation of the microvasculature in various organs. Aberrations in several T cell subsets, both numerical and functional, have been identified in GPA patients. However, their significance for GPA pathogenesis remains unclear.
