Spontaneous abortion or early termination of a pregnancy is a very frequent gynecological-obstetrical accident, affecting 12-24% of pregnancies. But despite this frequency, it appears that spontaneous abortion is not a trivial event for the women who experience it. It poses psychosocial problems for the woman, the couple, and the family, especially in Africa where the child occupies a predominant place.
