This dataset reports the Ultraviolet visible optical extinction coefficients for multiple atmospherically-relevant compounds. Following Beer's law (A = e*l*C, where A is absorbance, e is the extinction coefficient, l is the pathlength of the optical measurement, and C is the concentration of the compound in solution), we report "e" in units of M-1 cm-1. The data were taken in pure water.
