The study examined the Principal’s Administrative Roles and Teachers’ Job Effectiveness in Public Secondary Schools in Akwa Ibom State. The lapses created by poor Principal’s Administrative Roles in managing public secondary schools in Akwa Ibom State in terms of instructional supervision, planning, motivation and evaluation influence absenteeism, unwillingness to plan lesson notes, laziness towards teaching and other forms of indiscipline which constitute a great threat to effective job performance by teachers.
