Critical thinking is one of the important skills as spelt out in section 2.4.4 of Part 2 of the CDIO Syllabus Personal and Professional Skills and Attributes. This paper focus on the effort to explicitly teach and assess critical thinking skills among engineering students; effectively combining a strong pedagogical approach with curriculum design, using the Diploma in Chemical Engineering as the working example. Findings from the work done to date will be shared
