The psychological theories of persuasive communication Human mental processes, emotions and actions are modified and conditioned by the intervention of other people. Social influence is present in every sphere of daily life, from relationships to mass phenomena. Persuasion constitutes one of the possible types of social influence. This article reviews some psychological theories of persuasive communication.
