ACCOUNT OF THE SPATIAL ADVANTAGES OF MOUNTAIN TERRITORIES IN INCREASING THE SUSTAINABILITY OF THEIR DEVELOPMENT

The article dwells into the issues of ensuring the sustainable development of mountain territories by taking into account their spatial advantages, noting that the desire for sustainable development by ensuring a significant increase in labor productivity and living standards in the mountains itself can generate environmental and other risks that can largely negate achieved positive results. The essence of regional development is not only in the solution of economic, technical, political and social problems of mountain settlements, rather it affects the improvement of state institutions of power, including those on which various spheres of people's life depend. The necessity of forming a set of regulatory frameworks for territories, settlements, residents of mountainous regions is substantiated, considering the national economic approach, while maintaining a balance of national, regional and local interests on the principles of spatial justice of each mountainous region
