The description of the neutrino evolution in matter has become crucial in the determination of most of the remaining uncertainties in the neutrino oscillation framework. Such is the case of the mass ordering or the phase that violates the CP symmetry in the lepton sector. In both cases, the interaction of neutrinos and antineutrinos with the matter determines the measurement of the parameter. In the presence of non-standard interactions (NSI) of the neutrino with the matter, their evolution and therefore the determination of the oscillation parameter will be altered.
