The analytical techniques allow proposing interventions in the studied material, conveying advantageous characteristics for technical textiles, and different types of composites used in engineering as well as understanding the degradation process of the material. The present study aimed to evaluate the main physicochemical analytical techniques (FTIR and Raman) employed in the characterization of textile and nonconventional composite materials. The methodology consisted of a systematic literature review carried out in Web of Science and Scopus database.
