Dendrochronological analysis of additional timbers from a shipwreck at Skeppsholmen, Stockholm.

Dendro.dk report 5 : 2018 Commissioned by Jim Hansson, Swedish National Maritime Museums. Six samples from Skeppsholmen, Stockholm, were submitted for dendrochronological analysis, to determine their date and provenance. Twelve ship timbers have been analysed previously from the site showing that the oaks for the ship were felled in the years 1612-13 and 1613-14 (Daly 2017). Five of the additional samples are from the aft of the ship and include oak hull planks, an oak ceiling and pine sheathing. A sixth sample is from a separate structure. The results of this analysis are described in this report
