Incubus syndrome refers to the delusional thought of the patient as having been sexually approached by an unseen lover at night. It is considered as a secondary type of erotomania. It is rarely described in the literature and has few case reports. A review of the literature yielded six case reports describing 12 cases, most of which were described in Schizophrenia patients.
