Figure S1: Overlapping the total chromatographic profiles of organic acids extracted from parasites at different times (0, 24,48, and 72h) from cultivation on TAU3AAG medium, performed using the CR10 chromatographic program (Schimadzu, Kyoto, Japan). The extraction of organic acids was carried out as described in MM, and the separation was carried out on an Aminex XPX-87H column at a flow of 0.6 ml/min, using 0.07 mM H2SO4 as eluent. Detection was performed at 210 nm and a sensitivity of 0.08 AUFS. The arrows indicate the unidentified acids systematically located throughout the cultivation in the BHI medium (Fig. 4).
