The process of post-war revival and next development of relations between Н. S. Skovoroda Kharkiv State Pedagogical Institute and schools and people’s education agencies of Kharkiv and Kharkiv Region. Special attention is gi v-en to formation and permanent perfection of forms and methods of this work. The activity of Ukrainian Pedagogical Society Kharkiv Department that was headed by institute scientists is illustrated.
