Facebook - The Social Network and Privacy

In his appearance before congress, Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg fails to bring clarity. Social networks cannot delegate responsibility regarding their use and abuse to their users. Regulation and oversight by legislators is required, if social networks are considered infrastructure and media channels.This paper was written in 2018 as part of a research project at scip AG, Switzerland.
