Surgery for acetabular fractures is challenging due to challenging surgical access, challenging fracture anatomy, challenging anatomic reduction, challenging surgical complications, challenging functional outcomes, and challenging chondral damage. Acetabular fractures have a significant mortality and morbidity rate.
