5-Hydroxy-7,8-dimetboxydevone forms an orange.coloured, water-soluble complex with uranyl ions. The complex has been studied in aqueous ethanol by speetrophotometrio, potontiometric, and conductometrio methods. Thew studies reveal that tho complex molecule contains uranium and 5-hydrozy.7,8-dimethoxyflavone in the ratio of 1:2.
