This research discovers the effect of learning model on students’ competence in Electrical Power System Analysis Course. This study dealt with experiment group using multimedia learning model consisted of 20 students as a sample subject (A Class) and concept map learning strategy consisted of 23 students as a sample subjects (B Class). The data analysis in this study was using two mean comparative statistics on rate α = 5 %. The findings of this research showed that learning model using multimedia improves competences achievement amounted to 32.4%; the failure 1% and score index 3.46.
