A review of the complex of differences between the algorithms of scientific schools in morphology and morphofunctional analysis of chickens’ peripheral blood of postnatal ontogenesis is presented. The hematopoiesis features of broiler chickens Gallus gallus (L.) at their early ontogenesis period after birth are characterized. The classification and causes of differences in the nomenclature of the formed elements of chickens’ blood are discussed in comparison with mammals. Keywords: blood morphology, erythroblasts, erythropoiesis, hemocytopoiesis, heterophiles, pseudoeosinophils, eosinophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, platelets, hens. Please cite this article as: ...
