X-ray repair cross complementing 1 and 3 (XRCC1 and XRCC3) gene plays a key role in DNA repair, genetic instability and tumorigenesis. We hypothesized that single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in XRCC1 and XRCC3 gene might affect its expression and/or function which have an influence on the development of cervical cancer.
