The purpose of this study is to find out how the relations between Afghanistan and Iran have been after the Islamic Revolution in Iran. Through this article, I have first examined the relations between Iran and Afghanistan at the time of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, at which time Iran did not have friendly relations with the Russian puppet communist government due to greater convergence with the Afghan Mujahideen.
