The object of the present research is the analysis of the legal framework for criminalizing the crime of mercenary activity in the CIS states. The publication performs an analysis of the crime of activity of mercenaries in the legislation of the CIS states and highlights the criteria for differentiating criminal laws in these states, as well as highlighting the similarities of criminalization of the analyzed crime component.
