Since 1980 the Qantir‐Pi‐Ramesse project, based at the Roemer‐ und Pelizaeus‐Museum Hildesheim, has been working in Egypt’s Nile Delta, excavating the country’s Ramesside capital Pi‐Ramesse around the modern village of Qantir.
