OER: How People with Disabilities Use the Web

This presentation provides a comprehensive overview as to how people with disabilities use the web. This includes providing a better understanding to the diversity of individual abilities, the needs and barriers of people with disabilities through their use of the web, an overview of some of the most common disabilities, as well as some of the assistive technologies and strategies that can be utilized to improve the user experience with technology. It is important to note that these overviews are by no means all encompassing, but with the hope of still obtaining a greater general knowledge base on these topics
