The preliminary phytochemical analysis of Fumaria parviflora revealed the presence of flavonoids, glycosides, tannins, saponins, steroids, triterpenoids, phenols, alkaloids and anthraquinones. The pharmacological studies showed that Fumaria parviflora possess hepatoprotective, antidiabetic, antiinflammatory, antipyretic, analgesic, prokinetic, laxative, dermatological, antimicrobial, antiparasitic, reproductive, anticholinesterase and smooth muscle relaxant effects.
