Some Substituted Thioureas and Their Reactions with the Platinum Metal Ions

Some substituted thioureas have been prepared and their reactions with the platinum metal ions have been studied. The results indicate that the thiourea derivatives, N-phenyl-N'-acetyl thiourea, N-α-pyridyl-N'-benzoyl thiourea and N- α(5-bromopyridyl)-N'-benzoyl thiourea are potential analytical reagents for the determination of those metals
