Photocatalytic degradation of Acridine Yellow G and Aniline Blue B dyes in a slurry batch reactor using visible light and ZnO suspension

The degradation or selected dyes was studied using different parameters such as, reaction pH, catalyst concentration, substrate concentration and in the presence of different electron acceptors such as hydrogen peroxide, potassium persulphate. The degradation as strongly influenced by all the above-mentioned parameters. Visible light and ZnO system was found to degrade A YG more efficiently as compared to ABB under chosen reaction conditions
