Bibliographers have been slow to recognize web archive as a function of collection development, beyond personnel in Special Collections (archiving university domain) or government documents (archiving government sites).nbsp; Yet as more and more data is generated online, including in the social sciences, it is timely to look at how web archiving can fit into a collection development policy and be part of a selector's duties.
