Genetic modified (GM) is a rapidly evolving technique that can help farmers increase their production and profitability. The study looked at consumer acceptance of genetically modified foods in Bangkok, Thailand. The effect of several parameters on consumer acceptance of GM foods was estimated using a qualitative choice (Logit) model. The findings revealed that over 90% of respondents had heard or read anything about genetically modified foods, showing a high degree of awareness among respondents in Bangkok. The findings also revealed that 72% of those polled were willing to accept genetically modified goods.
