Jump rope can be incorporated in an athlete’s regular training programme as a warm-up, active rest or cool down. The portability of jump rope makes this possible even during competition. Fitness exercise and other types of exercises require access to a gymnasium or fitness centre, while a jump rope requires only sufficient space and adequate surface. This study was designed to investigate influence of jump rope training on physical fitness variables among school boys.
