2,2',-Bipyridine and 1,10-Phenanthroline Complexes of Lanthanide(lll) Trifluoroacetates

Lanthanide(III) trifluoro­acetates yield compounds of the type Ln(CF3COO)3.bipy or phen with 2,2'- bipyridine and 1,10-phenanthroline. Their properties and structures have been studied using chemical analyses, electronic and infrared spectra Thermal analysis of a few complexes have also been done.
