Indigenous knowledge is the knowledge of indigenous people which they keep transferring from one generation to other. This knowledge has a vast area and scope that can help us to achieve the goal of sustainable development. In India, Assam consist of 12.4% of tribal population of our country which is a major part and their knowledge of traditional medicines, farming, household activities etc. has shown us a path to develop such methods that will help us to attain sustainability.
