A comprehensive understanding of trophic interactions in terrestrial ecosystems is crucial for ecological research and conservation. Recent advances in non-invasive methods, such as environmental DNA (eDNA) metabarcoding, have enabled researchers to collect vast amounts of data on wild animal diets.
