Abstract The article describes the influence of some sowing methods and fertilizer rates on the yield, the weight of 1000 seeds, on the quality of the fiber of various varieties of cotton, since this culture is of particular importance in the socio-economic development of our country. In our country, various research works are being carried out in the field of cotton growing. As a result of the studies, it was revealed that the structural indicators of varieties, depending on agricultural practices, were different. The applied agrotechnical ones had an impact on the number of bolls, on the output of raw cotton from one boll, on the weight of 1000 seeds.
