Substantiation of management decisions on the strategic development of the enterprise as a socio–economic system

The subject of the work is the methodological principles of substantiation of management decisions on the development and implementation of the strategy of enterprise development as a socio– economic system. The purpose of the study is to highlight the features of the enterprise as a socio–economic system; determining the sequence of stages of the process of development and implementation of enterprise development strategy as a socio–economic system; indication of methodological approaches that should be used at each stage of strategy development, increasing the level of validity of strategic management decisions. Methods of research. The work uses a set of scientific methods and approaches, including systemic, structural–functional, logical, which allowed to ensure the conceptual unity of research on the process of developing and implementing a strategy for enterprise development as a socio–economic system. Results of work. The article substantiates the need to consider the enterprise as a socio– economic system that is part of the socio–economic system of the region and the country. The sequence of stages of development and implementation of the strategy of its sustainable development is focused on the relationship of its internal potential with the capabilities of the external environment through the introduction of socially responsible behavior. One of the manifestations of corporate social responsibility is an environmentally oriented and environmentally integrated strategy. Application of results. The proposed methodological basis for the development of development strategy can be used in the field of strategic management of the socio–economic system of any level. Conclusions. The main results of the study are: 1) the enterprise as a socio–economic system of a certain level needs to link the characteristics of internal potential with the capabilities of the external environment in the formation of its development strategy focused on socially responsible behavior; 2) the development strategy of the enterprise begins with a study of the external environment to identify its capabilities and threats and includes stages of determining the mission and objectives of the enterprise taking into account the assessment of its internal potential and level of competitive development, identifying drivers of prospective development. ; 3) the implementation of the selected development strategy involves making decisions on its provision with the necessary resources, development and implementation of a s
