Aspiration syndrome in infants is still an urgent topic of study in neonatology, much less attention has been paid to postnatal aspiration in newborns and infants, despite its clinical significance. A total of 72 newborns who died in the early neonatal period and their renal tissue material were received at the Republican Center of Pathological Anatomy in the neonatal period 2018-2022. It was found that in infants with aspiration syndrome in the period up to 7 days due to renal hypoxia caused by deformation of glomerular formation, the proliferative activity of mesangial cells in the glomerular structures increases.
