Future network services are conceived around the joint use of different heterogeneous resources while combining networking and cloud functions. In order to tackle such a huge challenge, dynamic data plane solutions are needed. In fact, transmission systems need to be agile, programmable, and capable of transmitting large amounts of data dynamically.
