This research deals with how the bonds established between individuals and organizations relate to the potential for organizational resilience. The problematization stems from the need for organizations to develop skills to overcome situations of adversity. The general objective is to define the relationship between Organizational Commitment and Organizational Resilience, from the perspective of teachers and managers who work in public schools and, for that, involved identifying the predominant level of commitment among teachers (a); measuring the degree of organizational resilience of schools (b); and the assessment of the relationship between commitment and resilience within the organizations participating in the research (c).
