The provisions related to the presentation of the accused persons in the courtroom are set out in the Act XC of 2017 on the Code of Criminal Procedure (hereafter: CPP) and the Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code. The CPP states that every person has the right to be informed about trials by the media. Audio and video recordings of the trial are subject to the permission of the presiding judge1. Moreover, sound or video recordings of persons present at the hearing – with the exception of the members of the court, the keeper of the minutes, the prosecutor and the defence counsel – are subject to the consent of the person concerne
