After treatment for a non- functioning pituitary adenoma (NFA) health-related quality of life (HRQoL) improves considerably. However, the literature about the normalization of health-related quality of life after treatment is inconclusive. A concrete conceptualization of the health outcomes of patients with a nonfunctioning pituitary adenoma (NFA) can be helpful to understand the observed variety in HR-QoL outcomes and to improve clinical care and guidance of these patients.
