WOMEN'S ISSUE IN UZBEKISTAN (in the example of the Soviet period and the years of independence)

This article scientifically analyzes the history of the women's movement in Uzbekistan on the example of the Soviet period and the years of independence. According to the conclusions of the researchers, the essence of the state policy towards women in the Soviet era was analyzed in three main stages. The state policy towards women during the years of independence was studied in two stages on the basis of normative documents adopted in this direction.
